Location: McLean, VA (Projects throughout the DMV)
Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
Pay: $20-$30/hr (Based on Experience)
Lunch: Paid 30-Minute Lunch
Training: Provided – No Experience Necessary

A Big Improvement is seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented laborer to join our residential remodeling team. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone eager to learn the trades and grow in the construction industry. Whether you have some experience or none at all – if you’re a fast learner with a great attitude and strong communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Duties Include:
– Assisting with residential remodeling projects (kitchens, bathrooms, basements, etc.) – Demo, prep, cleanup, and general labor
– Supporting skilled tradesmen with materials and tools
– Learning basic carpentry, drywall, tiling, and other trade skills
– Following jobsite safety protocols
– Communicating clearly and respectfully with the team and clients
– Representing the company professionally on job sites

– Reliable transportation to job sites in and around McLean, VA
– Strong work ethic and punctuality
– Good communication is a must
– Ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical labor
– Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to receive 1099 pay
