project background
This project focused on transforming an existing custom-built wall unit through a highly specialized finishing process. The built-in itself had already been constructed, but the original finish did not reflect the level of quality or visual impact the homeowner was looking for.
We were brought in specifically to execute a premium spray finish using Fine Paints of Europe (Eco Brilliant system)to achieve a deep, rich blue tone with a mirror-like appearance.
Because high-gloss finishes reveal every imperfection, the majority of this project involved extensive surface preparation. The existing surfaces required significant sanding, correction, and refinement before any primer or finish coats could be applied.
The final result is a luxury, furniture-grade built-in with a reflective, glass-like finish that dramatically elevates the entire room.
