This project involved a full structural kitchen remodel that completely reconfigured the first-floor layout to create a larger open-concept living space.
The original layout separated the kitchen, dining room, and living room with multiple walls and narrow passageways. The new proposed layout removed these barriers and introduced two large openings in the load-bearing wall, connecting the kitchen, dining room, and living areas.
These changes dramatically improved circulation, visibility, and natural light across the entire first floor.
Afterwards, ABI completely remodeled the kitchen. Rerouting HVAC, adding new cabinets, counters, lighting, adding 2-1/4″ red oak floors, a new pantry, and completely repainting the first floor.
